Established in 2000, vertis Biotechnologie AG is a privately held company with its core competence in the field of functional genomics. It was founded as a spin-off of the Technische Universität München-Weihenstephan. VERTIS is dedicated towards providing high-quality and fast turnaround molecular biology services. We have developed stateof-the-art technologies for transcriptome analysis and are able to offer innovative and flexible solutions for your gene discovery projects. We offer a complete product line, from project consulting, nucleic acid isolation, NGS library preparation, DNA sequencing to bioinformatic sequence analyses and data mining.

VERTIS has specialized in providing innovative tools and strategies for comprehensive qualitative and quantitative analysis of bacterial and eukaryotic transcriptomes as a service.

Our strength is customer-oriented flexibility based on our innovative technology platform, which we have developed over our 20-year history. The focus is on the sequencing of RNA molecules (RNA-seq) using state-of-the-art ‘Next Generation Sequencing’ (NGS) methods.
