Networking between science, economy and companies is realized in an exemplary manner on the Martinsried Life Sciences Campus. Over the long-term in the areas of biology and medicine such locations only have a real future when they effectively support the transfer from basic research to applications. Today the Martinsried Science Campus is one of the world’s largest centers on basic scientific research, teaching, clinical research and technology innovation. This creates a variety of collaborations between the start-ups, the institutes and the clinic. The short distances promote personal exchange and uncomplicated interactions.

Weihenstephan Campus

The Freising-Weihenstephan location has established itself as a competence cluster for Life Sciences in Europe. The internationally recognized research centers and TUM research campus provide an outstanding platform for cooperations that will lead to promising spin-offs in the future.

The IZB network

A close network of science, research and like-minded colleagues increases the impact of the location. Especially in a time of consolidation, factors such as cooperation, strategic mergers, qualified personnel as well as information advantages through close information exchange are vital prerequisites for a successful presence in global markets.
