After the long Corona break, the IZB Residence CAMPUS AT HOME has reopened its doors to all national and international guests. To ensure the highest level of security, the 2G+ rule will be applied. “We are very pleased that life is now coming back to the campus and that all the attractive infrastructure facilities of the IZB can be used,” said Dr. Peter Hanns Zobel, Managing Director of the IZB.

Design hotel on the Martinsried campus
The IZB Residence CAMPUS AT HOME is an absolute eye-catcher on the Campus Martinsried not far from the Klinikum Großhadern in Munich. As one of the most modern design hotels in the city, the 27-meter-high building impresses with its clear architecture. Guests of the IZB start-ups, Campus Martinsried as well as conference room guests appreciate the special ambience of the Campus Hotel. “Our entire hotel and restaurant team is looking forward to pampering guests again,” says Sascha Beck, hotel director IZB Residence CAMPUS AT HOME.

Attractive conference rooms at the IZB
The conference rooms are also available again in full: the Sky Room on the 7th floor of the IZB Residence with a view over the entire campus invites many guests to strategy meetings. The Cube and Ellipse II are ideal for smaller groups. Ellipse I is also newly renovated and attractive for larger events.

SEVEN AND MORE Restaurant
As of March 28, 2022, the SEVEN AND MORE restaurant is also open again in the evenings. The restaurant is a real insider tip in the Munich area and inspires with mainly light dishes of the Mediterranean cuisine. With a lot of love and creativity, the kitchen team is constantly working on developing the menu.

The new Food Lounge THE BOWL
With an appealing design and a new kitchen team, the new restaurant opened in the fall of 2021, now replacing the old Freshmaker restaurant.

The focus is on dishes with regional origins, sustainable quality and fresh preparation: whether sorbet, ice cream, sauces or soups – everything is homemade here.

Gateway to Biotech: our Faculty Club
Long awaited and finally usable again: the Faculty Club G2B (Gateway to Biotech). Due to the Corona pandemic, the club had not been in operation for two years. This was a heavy blow for the CEOs of the IZB start-ups, the scientists of the campus and the multipliers of the industry, who have always made active use of this communication center. In the future, all events will be held there again. The next IZBrunch will be held on June 30, 2022.
