The open day of the Max Planck Institutes of Biochemistry and Neurobiology in Martins­ried attracted 4,500 of visitors on November 17, 2018 and gave an insight into the world of science. Interested visitors got an impression of the diverse research work at the institutes, listened to exciting lectures and carried out experiments themselves. A highlight for children and young people were the science courses at “MaxLabs”.
