In 1999, when 4SC moved into the IZB, the company evaluated potential drug candidates and offered these research services to biopharmaceutical companies. Currently, the product pipeline comprises several epigenetically active cancer drugs undergoing trials from advanced preclinical research to late-stage clinical development. In December 2016, 4SC moved from the IZB to new premises in Martinsried. 4SC remains tied to the IZB campus and will continue to attend networking events and maintain exchanges with medical experts, researchers and other companies in the area, for example at the Faculty Club.
