What´s up at IZB

Dear Mister/Miss Titel ,

there is a fireworks display of exciting news at the IZB right now. In many companies we welcome new managers with excellent industry experience to continue to sustainably implement the visions of the start-ups. In addition, we congratulate Secarna, Thermosome and Bicoll on their research results and funding.

It is a special pleasure to congratulate Prof. Patrick Cramer, former Director of the Gene Center at the Campus, on his new position as President of the Max Planck Society. We are very much looking forward to welcoming him to the site at the next opportunity.

Networking is a top priority at the IZB. This is evident from the many events taking place this summer and next fall. Take the opportunity to exchange ideas with the multipliers at the IZB. At the Munich Life Science Pitch Day (July 13, 2023), 16 project teams will present their research this time. We are happy to welcome more than 40 investors this time - and more are welcome!

Enjoy reading the many news from the IZB.

With best regards

Yours

Dr. Peter Hanns Zobel
Managing Director IZB
